Library Trip

On Wednesday we visited The DLR library in Cabinteely. We learnt how to use the scan system and we all joined the library. We all took out one book and will be back in 2 weeks to return them and take out another! :)

Yoga

Yoga with Ms Harwood

We are extremely lucky that Ms Harwood has been able to take some time out of her busy schedule to teach us some yoga. It is a great way to start our week! 

We used feathers to practice our breathing.

We have three rules during yoga 1. Listen when Ms Harwood is talking, 2. Respect each other and focus on ourselves and finally 3. Have fun! :)

Student Attendance Month Winners

Ms Wynne organized a Student Attendance Month for November. Every child who didn't miss a day in November received a selection box. There was also a class prize for the class who had the most days with nobody absent. We're delighted that our class won!

We brought in cushions and blankets to get comfy! and

We had pizza, garlic bread and popcorn!

We had great fun dressing up again this year. We had a lot of home-made costumes which was great to see!

Poor Sean was getting hot under his straw! His grandad Mick made his costume. It was very heavy!

Trip to Town!

We went to the National Archaeology Museum, Stephen's Green and the Book of Kells. We have been studying the Celts so were delighted to see the Ardagh Chalice, Tara Brooch and the Book of Kells. We also stopped at Leinster House to check on the Government!

Maths Trail

We were out and about today designing a Maths Trail for Maths Week!

Back to school

We've been very busy all September! Look at our rockets, new door display, recount writing and autumn paintings!
