Student Attendance Month Winners

Ms Wynne organized a Student Attendance Month for November. Every child who didn't miss a day in November received a selection box. There was also a class prize for the class who had the most days with nobody absent. We're delighted that our class won!

We had great fun dressing up again this year. We had a lot of home-made costumes which was great to see!

Trip to Town!

We went to the National Archaeology Museum, Stephen's Green and the Book of Kells. We have been studying the Celts so were delighted to see the Ardagh Chalice, Tara Brooch and the Book of Kells. We also stopped at Leinster House to check on the Government!

Maths Trail

We were out and about today designing a Maths Trail for Maths Week!

Eva won a TV!

Eva won a colouring competition and the prize was a tv for our school! Ciaran from Bookhaven and Simon from Helix came to present the prize to Eva.Eva's Mum and brother also came to visit!

Simple Circuits!

We learnt about Electricity this week. Ms O Hanlon gave us two wires, a battery, a bulb and a bulb holder. We had to figure out how to light the lightbulb by ourselves! Eventually we all managed it, some people even managed to light two bulbs by adding an extra wire!
